Leadership Update

In observance of the Independence Day holiday, Metal Depots manufacturing facilities will be closed Thursday, July 4 - Friday, July 5, 2019. Sales offices will also be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019, but will re-open Friday, July 5, 2019.

In addition, we will be upgrading our order processing system during this holiday week (Sunday, June 30, 2019 to Sunday, July 7, 2019) to minimize impact on your business. Orders can still be submitted as normal during this time, but delivery of order confirmations will be delayed and production of ordered material will be deferred until after the transition is complete and we return to business as usual (Monday, July 8, 2019).

Improved Service and Support from Metal Depots

Dear Valued Customers and Friends,

Fast response times and reliable service is essential in helping you do business every day. To better meet your needs, we’re upgrading our order processing systems to help:

  • Simplify business processes
  • Improve order processing speed and accuracy
  • Enhance communications
  • Widen our product offering over time

This transition will begin Sunday, June 30, 2019 and continue over the Fourth of July holiday week to minimize impact on your business. We anticipate business as usual to resume Monday, July 8, 2019. Orders received and manufactured prior to June 30, 2019 are expected to be confirmed and delivered as normal.

Orders Submitted During the Transition Period:

As we roll-out this upgrade, you can continue to submit orders via phone, fax and email as you normally do. While orders submitted prior to June 30th are expected to be processed as normal, those submitted during the transition can expect:

  • Delayed receipt of order confirmations (These will be sent upon completion of the update.)
  • Deferred production of ordered material until after the transition is complete 

During this time, please do not re-submit orders to reduce the risk of duplication. Your customer service representative will work with you to confirm your order details and ensure you get the material you need once production resumes.

We know your business doesn’t stop and appreciate your understanding as we work behind the scenes to improve our systems. If the upgrade is complete and we return to business as usual earlier than expected, we will notify you immediately.
